Hartmann Rasmussen’s work revolves around the idea of metamorphosis and often features hybrid creatures flowing between different stages of being. The title of her exhibition, “Hjernetåger”, originates from the Danish term used in describing the blurred thinking often experienced at the dawn
of women's life; it also refers to the creative idea of working intuitively and exploring uncharted artistic territory within ourselves.
